"The Chocolate League series is an adventurous tale of friendship that develops between kids who are growing up in the neighborhoods of Detroit."

This book is aimed at young readers. I worked on plot/creative development, helping the authors to find the desired voice, maintaining the desired balance between standard grammar and vernacular, proofreading, and general editing.

Project |02 Conscientious Birth [working title]

My most recent project was a book about birth education. This is a full book project, with the first draft coming in at 123,896 words. The work includes draft evaluation, content editing, organizational help and format editing, research, citations, grammar and other proofreading duties. This project is currently on hold.
